Greg Block Sells Co-Working Office in the Loop to Expanding Office Firm
Millennium Properties announced that it recently sold a 14,383 SF commercial condo at 9 W. Washington in Chicago’s Central Loop. The office space sold for $2.65 million to an international co-working company, Rent24. Greg Block was the sole broker on the transaction.
This location will be Rent24’s third location since it entered the Chicago market in May. 9 W. Washington is a fully built-out co-working space with a mix of desk stations and private suites as well as three conference rooms. Recently updated, the unit has a dedicated office entrance, allowing 24/7 secure access for tenants. It’s Central Loop location is convenient to CTA transportation, along with a strong business community which makes it a desirable location for a variety of businesses.
“We are excited to assist Rent24 in its expansion in the Chicago co-working market,” said Greg Block, executive vice president of Millennium Properties. “As a company focused on entrepreneurs, they appreciated the unit’s prime location in the Central Loop, close to public transit, governmental offices and Chicago’s vibrant business community. The street level visibility and access offer a unique opportunity and because the space was already operating as a coworking business, Rent24 can quickly and seamlessly rebrand the space.”
