Daniel Hyman recently brokered the purchase of a former Ultra Foods location in Downers Grove for $2.65 million. A stalking horse buyer was secured to purchase the 78,850 square foot store at 1212 75th Street through a bankruptcy court-ordered auction.

Our team recently brokered the sale of two fully leased retail centers in Chicago’s northwest and western suburbs. Both centers are in prime locations within each suburb’s downtown area. Chet Evans sold a 9,800 square foot, two building center adjacent to a CVS location in Barrington. Brad Thompson brokered the sale of a retail/office building adjacent to the Elmhurst Metra station that includes Lou Malnati’s as a tenant.

Through our three of our most recent sealed bid auctions, Greg Block and Millennium Properties sold all 14 properties available for sale. Both units from our most recent auction in January are currently under contract to sell.

Brad Thompson recently brokered the sale of a 15,500 square foot neighborhood retail center in Lombard. The Colonial Commons, which sold for $1.2 Million, is leased to a mix of local and national tenants with the potential to add value.

Greg Block and Chet Evans recently leased a 1,800 square foot retail store front on the corner of Fullerton and Clybourn to Domino's Pizza. The end cap space is located in one of the most popular retail areas of Chicago and has high visibility at a busy stop light intersection.

Millennium Properties recently brokered the sale of a 10,800 SF retail showroom in Palatine for $1,000,000. This property is located in a highly visible area along Northwest Highway in a strong commercial corridor.

Daniel Hyman represented Swiss FineTiming in the multi-million dollar lease transaction for the jeweler’s new Gold Coast location. Swiss FineTiming is expanding and relocating its store from Michigan Ave. to 70 E. Walton; the new spacious, exclusive and upscale location will allow for two showrooms and a flagship lounge area as well as the jeweler to feature their prestigious Audemars Piguet collection. This sought after location, in the heart of the premier shopping district will draw in customers from Michigan Ave, the Four Seasons Hotel, Waldorf Astoria, and Water Tower Place.

Millennium Properties was recently named the exclusive leasing agent for 12 neighborhood retail centers with a total of 1.1 million square feet of space. Most of the properties are located throughout the Chicago suburbs, including Schaumburg, Joliet, Bolingbrook, Glendale Heights and more. One center is located in the city of Brown Deer in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee. The leasing team of Chet Evans and Michael Mintz will be responsible for leasing the vacant units in this retail portfolio.

Millennium Properties announced that it recently sold a 5,300 square foot restaurant on Cicero in Oak Lawn on behalf of a financial institution and the state of Illinois. The former Italian restaurant and pizzeria is located at 10745 S. Cicero Ave was occupied by Papa Joe’s for 25 years. Millennium Properties also managed the property for the bank during the receivership process.
